Draw this again meme

Wow, this is my last post of 2012!!! So the big 2k12 has been quite a year! I'd say I've improved just a little bit since last year, eh? What do you guys think?

The first pic was done back in June of 2011, while the newer one I started in October of 2012 and have been working on it on-and-off since then (it's still not done yet though).
For clarification purposes just in case anyone asks, the background snuset is done from a picture that I myself took while I was on my vacation in hawaii.

I'll upload the newest picture once it's completely finished.
